The Maltese ambassador to Libya, Charles Slaiba, reaffirmed Sunday that his country’s embassy will open in Tripoli in few days to facilitate visa processing for Libyans.

The ambassador’s remarks came in a meeting with the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, and his two deputies, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Mossa Al-Koni in Tripoli.

The media office of the Presidential Council said the meeting also discussed bilateral relations, the importance of peace and stability in Libya and cooperation between the two countries in different areas, especially in education and training.
