The Maltese Embassy in Tripoli announced the restart of issuing visas to Libyans, from August 29.

The Maltese Embassy has, however, limited the number of visa applications to those seeking essential travel, related to both commercial and family reunification, within the framework of the recommendations of the EU council, taking full note of the hope for improvement of the epidemiological situation within the country.

It was also noted that the submission of all applications is expected to be facilitated through VFS Global, which will assist in facilitating visa procedures following the signing of a partnership contract at the embassy.
