The second conference of local cultures was launched Sunday in the city of Gharyan, 80 km south of Tripoli.
The conference was held under the theme “together for a culture that binds us together.”
The Director of Training Department at the General Authority for Culture, Omar bin Rajab, opened the gathering with a brief statement in which he emphasized the importance of local cultures for national progress and development.
