The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed with Italian oil giant Eni the lifting of force majeure and the resumption of the company’s exploration activity in Libya.
The discussion came during a technical meeting of the Exploration Department of the NOC on Monday with officials of the Italian company.
The NOC reviewed at the meeting the completed projects in exploration and reconnaissance programs for 2022 in addition to the proposed programs for 2023, aiming to increase production rates.
It also presented the programs of reflection seismology, exploration, geological and geophysical studies, as well as lifting the state of force majeure and resuming the company’s exploration activity in Libya.
