The head of Libya’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Al-Ruaid disclosed that no decisive results have been reached on the return of Egyptian workers to Libya so far.

In a press statement, Al-Ruaid clarified that the Egyptian side pledged to facilitate security procedures for the return of Egyptian workers, especially in light of the pressing need for them in all fields in Libya, explaining that travelling to Libya currently requires advance security approvals.

He also stressed that the security situation in Libya has significantly improved, saying that reconstruction projects need around 2 million Egyptians in all sectors.
