Libyan, Turkish Central Bank governors discuss cooperation.

The Governor of Libya’s Central Bank (CBL), Saddek Elkaber, has convened with his Turkish counterpart, Fatih Karahan, to explore means of fostering banking cooperation and exchange of expertise in the financial fields, as stated by the CBL on Facebook.

Elkaber and his accompanying delegation met the Turkish Central Bank Governor on the sidelines of the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.

According to the CBL, the talks focused on enhancing coordination between the two banks, exchanging expertise, and sharing views on the economic and financial situations in both countries, as well as the challenges that central banks confront in the region.
