Libyan-Saudi discussions to develop human resources and regulate the labour market.

The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, has discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Al-Shehri, the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of human resources development and labour market regulation.

The two sides agreed to include Libya in the “Qiwa” platform for registering expatriate workers in Saudi Arabia to contribute in facilitating the movement of Libyan residents and workers in Saudi Arabia, according to the ministry.

They stressed the importance of strengthening existing cooperation in the areas of human resources development by benefiting from the expertise and experiences of the two countries to develop the labour market and its systems, conforming the depth of Libyan-Saudi relations.
