Libyan Norwegian Fertiliser Company confirms resumption of production units of ammonia and urea plants

The Libyan Norwegian Fertiliser Company announced the return of its production units to work, represented in ammonia and urea plants, as well as other adjacent facilities.

“The National Oil Corporation (NOC) will be responsible for the export of the company’s products, according to an agreement signed in between,” the Executive Director of the company, Awadh Saber said in a press statement, Wednesday, noting that the situation will be assessed after five months from now.

The NOC has ceased in January, supplying natural gas to the company, until settling the debt overhang problems of the company.
