The Libyan Minister of Economy, Mohammed Al-Hawij, issued Wednesday orders for a price list of several commodities on the Libyan market.
Prices included 190 dinars for a quintal of flour for bakeries and 2 dinars for a flour kilogram, 2.75 for a sugar kilogram, 3.75 and 4 dinars a kilogram for different types of rice. The prices went on to cover all basic foods across the country.
The Minister of Economy’s order says the municipal guard and police are tasked with taking legal measures against any shops or markets that sell the products in violation of the price list.
