The US Government, through the US Agency for International Development, has signed a letter of intent with the Islamic Development Bank and the Central Bank of Libya.
This step was taken to facilitate access to financing opportunities through the Tamkeen Fund for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in southern Libya, according to the US embassy X platform page.
Thanks to this partnership, the US will help drive business development and employment opportunities in southern Libya fostering economic growth and stability, according to the embassy.
