Libya, Tunisia discuss further bolstering economic relations.

Minister of Economy and Trade of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Hawij, has discussed with the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Al-Assa’d Al-Ajili, several economic issues to further bolster the two countries’ economic relations.

The two sides discussed in a meeting promotion and revitalization of transit trade, activation of trade agreements, as well as follow-up of procedures for establishment of a joint free zone between the two countries, and joint exhibitions through cooperation with chambers of commerce.

The meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, dealt with joint commercial cooperation, facilitating procedures for the private sector and businessmen of both countries, and developing a strategy for economic and commercial cooperation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Economy posted on its Facebook account, on Thursday.
