Libya, Tunisia agree to set up a joint transport company.

A Libyan-Tunisian forum for transport and services was held in Monastir, Tunisia to discuss support for productive bilateral cooperation between both countries and to gather opinions in order to improve services in the transport sector.

According to Tunisian sources, the establishment of a Tunisian-Libyan land transport company was announced with a view to transporting people and goods between both countries with ease.

Both sides also agreed to reactivate previous agreements between the two countries in various methods of transport, along with other connected services, such as life and property insurance, stressing the necessity of establishing a maritime line between both countries to develop the economic movement between the two.
