Libya takes part in 8th China-Africa Business Conference.

Libyan business leaders participated in the 8th China-Africa Business Conference, part of the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in Beijing.

Presidential Council President Mohamed Menfi attended the event alongside key figures from Libya’s business sector, including Mohamed Al-Raied, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Rashid Suwan, Chairman of the Business Owners Council.

During the forum, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged $50 billion in project funding across Africa over the next three years and promised to create one million jobs on the continent.

Xi emphasized that China-Africa relations are at a historical high and expressed hopes for even deeper ties moving forward.
