Libya signs agreement with Turkey in medical field.

Libya’s Health Ministry has signed with its Turkish counterpart an agreement to operate specific health facilities in Libya and provide them with medical staff.

This came during an official visit conducted by a delegation from Libya’s health ministry headed by Undersecretary, Muhammed Haitham, to the Turkish capital, Ankara to complete procedures for the agreement, according to a statement of the Ministry of Health.

The Director of the Ministry of Financial Affairs, Fawzi Onis, clarified that the agreement included providing a medical team to operate Misurata Physiotherapy Centre, constructed under the supervision of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency “TIKA” with the support of the Turkish government.
