Libya pledges support for Arab industrial development at AIDMO assembly

Ahmed Abuheisa, Minister of Industry and Minerals, has emphasized the importance of Arab industrial integration and the need to bolster economic partnerships to achieve sustainable development.

Abuheisa’s remarks came during his speech at the 28th General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO), held in Rabat, Morocco.

The minister considered the event a crucial platform for sharing views and advancing towards Arab industrial development. He reiterated the Government of National Unity’s support for member initiatives to enhance industrial infrastructure and develop small and medium-sized industries across the Arab region.

The 28th session, chaired by Palestine, focused on strengthening cooperation among member states, sharing expertise and technology, and addressing the challenges faced by the industrial sector in the Arab world through innovative and sustainable strategies.
