Libya, Malta discuss banks cooperation

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has discussed with the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, cooperation between the banks of the two countries.

The CBL said in a release on Friday that the meeting took place between Al-Kabir and Saliba on Thursday, during which the latter confirmed the desire of Maltese companies to return to resume their activities in Libya to participate in various projects, and indicated the readiness of banks in Malta to deal with Libyan banks.

The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the process of unifying the Central Bank of Libya, according to the CBL.
