The Libyan ambassador to Italy, Omar Al-Tarhouni, has held discussions with Carlo Batori, Italy’s General Consul in Benghazi, on facilitating the issuing of visas to Libyan citizens, along with all relevant consular procedures.
The Libyan embassy indicated that the discussions, which took place at its headquarters in the Italian capital, comes within the agreement reached between the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush, and the Italian Foreign and Interior Ministers, in preparation for the opening of the Italian Consulate in Benghazi.
