Libya invites Greek companies back, seeks resumed flights.

Minister of Transport Mohamed Al-Shahoubi has invited Greek companies to operate within Libya and reinstate direct flights between Greece and Libyan airports.

The initiative came during a meeting between Al-Shahoubi and the Greek Ambassador to Libya, Nicholas Garilidis, at the Ministry of Transport HQ in Tripoli.

Minister Al-Shahoubi emphasized the “solid historical and economic relations” between Libya and Greece. Discussions focused on encouraging the return of Greek companies to Libya and the resumption of direct flights between the two countries.

Ambassador Garilidis expressed his country’s desire to advance bilateral relations, underscoring Greece’s interest in contributing to Libya’s economic development and strengthening mutual ties.
