Zueitina oil port said that the tanker DELTA MARIA has left the port of Zueitina heading to China, with a load of one million barrels of crude oil.

The Greek-flagged carrier “AMALTHEA” had also departed Brega port to Spain, with a shipment of 600,000 barrels of crude oil.

The step comes in the framework of Libya’s efforts to increase its annual oil production to increase the financial revenues of the public treasury, which depends on 95% of its funding on the oil sector.
