On Saturday, the Head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli, Mohamed Kadah, agreed with the Head of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria, Ahmed El-Wakeel, to cooperate to increase trade exchange between the two countries.

On its Facebook page, the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria indicated that during the meeting both sides emphasized establishing communication channels that link the different sectors of the members of the two chambers.

The parties also agreed to contribute to the reconstruction efforts in Libya, and increase trade and investment exchange.

It was agreed that the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria would host a delegation of businessmen in Libya to participate in a conference in July for the reconstruction of Libya and to activate trade and investment relations.

The visit comes in accordance with the visit of Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, to Libya, and the directives of the political leaders of the two countries. It also complements the virtual meetings held between the board of directors of the two Chambers of Commerce.
