Libya, Egypt agree to ease trade procedures

Minister of Economy and Trade Muhammad al-Hawij on Wednesday met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya Muhammad Salim to talk over mechanisms for promoting trade exchange between the two countries.

The meeting reviewed preparations for the upcoming Libyan-Egyptian Supreme Committee meeting and the difficulties and obstacles facing entrepreneurs and investors from both countries.

The two sides agreed on measures to ensure smooth trade facilitation and regulation at all borders, and in this context, they emphasized the need to resume air traffic in between as soon as possible.
