Libya and Tunisia discuss facilitating entry of goods through land ports and borders.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Saddiq Al-Kabeer, discussed with the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Al-Asaad Ajili, the facilitation and regulation of the entry of various goods imported from the Republic of Tunisia through land ports.

During the meeting on June 15 in Tripoli, both sides discussed the relevance of continued cooperation and coordination between the CBL and the Central Bank of Tunisia, along with steps to be taken to facilitate and regulate the entry of goods imported from Tunisia through the land ports.

Also discussed was the importance of adhering to documentary credits, according to the publications of the CBL and various other initiatives, in accordance with the agreements made between the Government of National Unity (GNU) and the Tunisian Government in their previous meetings.
