Libya aims to use Norwegian expertise in developing oil sector

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) is studying ways of providing technical and financial support to Al-Mabrouk and Akakus companies, by benefiting from the reliable expertise of the Norwegian company Equinor in production and exploration fields.

This came during a meeting that included the head of the NOC, Mustafa Sanallah along with the director of Equinor, Pierre Maris, in which both sides discussed supporting infrastructure requirements, rehabilitation of the Mabrouk field, and putting it into production.
