LIA seeks UK assistance in protecting assets abroad.

Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), Ali Mahmoud has discussed with the British Foreign Office official for Libyan affairs, James Turner; the strategic shift within the framework of the sanctions regime, and the mechanisms to protect its assets.

During the meeting held in London, the two sides discussed partnership between the LIA and the British Embassy regarding developing compliance with “Santiago” principles and improving governance.
