Libya’s Al-Jowfe Oil Technology Company discussed the possibility of offering Halliburton’s services to other oil operators in Libya.
The proposal came during a meeting between the two company’s last Monday (16 November) at Jowfe’s Benghazi headquarters.
Jowfe reported that at the meeting, Halliburton reviewed the activities discussed in previous visits to Al-Jowfe and presented services which the two parties can negotiate and present to other operating companies jointly.
The two parties also discussed the mechanism by which many of the oil sector needs in the field of drilling and production can be provided and activating the training agreement during the coming weeks.
The meeting ended with some recommendations and agreed on continuous communication between specialists on results from offers to provide distinguished services and competitive prices to operating companies.
It will be recalled that Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) had reported that it too had held a meeting with Halliburton in Benghazi on Monday (16 November) to discuss the work carried out by Halliburton in AGOCO’s oilfields.
AGOCO reported that it also discussed the strengthening of the contract between the two companies to implement work related to using Halliburton’s modern technology.
