Italy to resume granting visas to Libyans .

The Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, has confirmed that his country’s embassy in Tripoli will restart granting visas to Libyans during the coming period.

This came during his meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Issa, on Monday, during which Buccino expressed his country’s desire to enhance bilateral relations in various fields.

The meeting also touched on the implementation of the Libyan-Italian Treaty of Friendship and the illegal immigration file.
