Italy provides 2 million euros to UNICEF projects in Libya.

The Italian Foreign Ministry has provided two million euros to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to protect migrant minors in Libya.

The Italian Foreign Ministry said that the project will include the establishment of reception centres for children at risk in Tripoli to ensure that they and their families get a safe place and access treatment of pediatric diseases by providing medicines, in addition to rehabilitating health infrastructure and water purification in areas at risk, according to Italy’s ANSA news outlet.
