Italy eyes North African growth with “Made in Italy” Exhibition in Misrata.

Italy on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Misrata Chamber of Commerce and the Italian “Federitaly” Union to host the first “Made in Italy” exhibition in Misrata, Libya’s third-largest city.

The agreement was signed during the “Rome Export” event, aimed at promoting Italian products abroad. The event also featured participation from the “Confimprese Italia” Union and the Tunisian company “Delta Center.”
Carlo Verdone, President of the Federitaly Union, considered the initiative a significant step toward enhancing the presence of Italian companies in North Africa.

He highlighted that the region is experiencing rapid growth and has a strong demand for Italian products “due to their quality, creativity, and innovation.
