Italian delegation inspects Mitiga Airport to prepare for return of air traffic between both countries

An Italian delegation led an inspection tour and assessment at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli on Sunday, in order to determine the extent to which international standards are being applied to study the possibility of reopening international flights between Tripoli and Rome.

Mitiga International Airport indicated on its official Facebook account that the Italian delegation was accompanied on its tour by members of the Civil Aviation Authority, the General Airport Authority and officials of the Security, Safety and Air Aviation office connected to the airport.
