The Presidential Council of the National Government of Accord issued a decision to establish a number of technical colleges in South Libya. The decision stipulates establishment of 7 colleges with legal personality affiliated to the National Authority for Technical Education in the fields of agricultural technology, animal health, medical technology, rehabilitation and engineering technology in the municipalities of Wadi Ataba, Obari and Gharifa.
The presidential decision stipulated also establishment of two colleges for tourism and archeology, financial and administrative sciences in the areas of Juma and Bent Bey in the municipality of Bent Bey as well as two colleges of computer technology and information technology in the municipalities of Barak Alchati and the Western Chati.
