Initiation of an electronic link procedure for the transfer of Egyptian workers to Libya.

The Egyptian Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, confirmed that his ministry had concurred with the Libyan Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, to organize the process of transfer of workers through an electronic link between both ministries.

Saafan said in a press statement, that an Egyptian committee is due to arrive in Libya next week in order to complete the linking process, noting that a number of agreements had taken place between both sides, including the provision of an integrated training program for workers in need of training, however, if the workers have experience which qualifies them in their field, they may be transferred directly.

The Egyptian minister explained that most of the specializations of workers destined for work in Libya will be in the fields of construction, the medical sector and the information and technology sector.
