The National Oil Corporation (NOC) said Saturday that the productivity testing conducted in the North Hamada field of the Nafusa Oil Operations (NOO) showed promising results.
In a statement on Facebook, the NOC revealed that the production of the well A4 located northern Hamada in Ghadames Basin amounted to 2,700 barrels per day.
“These results were achieved despite the strained fiscal positions and the late disbursement of budgets during previous years besides the failure to adopt the present budget for the current year, which prevented the implementation of the project as planned.”
It explained that its goal is to realize the field’s full productivity at a rate of 50 thousand barrels per day of crude, 10 thousand barrels of condensate, and 90 million cubic feet of natural gas.
