German technicians carry out maintenance at a Libyan power plant.

group of technicians from the German company Siemens started maintenance work at the second gas station of 156-megawatts Al-Ruweis power plant in western Libya, the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said Sunday, adding that the work needs 35 days to be done.

GECOL added that the CEO visited the power plant to see the damages and technical issues and met with the German team, adding that the visit aimed to have a glimpse into what the conditions of the network is ahead of the summer heat.
