The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) discussed on Wednesday the completion of the Ubari gas power station project, in order to operate the first and second turbines, with a capacity of 640 megawatts.

GECOL’s meeting dealt with measures and procedures related to the project, discussing the difficulties and obstacles facing the work teams.

GECOL announced last October that operations materials had been transferred from its warehouses to the station, in preparation for operating the two turbines.
