Chairman of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Abdul Majeed Hamza said Saturday that the entry of Ubari gas station into service in July will offset the electricity shortfall caused by the clashes south of Tripoli.

During his meeting with the emergency committee, Hamza emphasized that all measures have been taken to reduce the periods of power outages during summer, adding that the company will cut the hours of load shedding to two or three hours a day at the worst.
