The GNA Minister of Economy Naser Al Dresi held an extended meeting over the fuel crisis which resulted in an agreement by virtue of which the distribution companies have
started supplying gas stations in and around the capital with petrol. The agreement was reached after the meeting which the Minister of Economy held with representatives of the Al Breiga Marketing Company and the distribution companies as well as the committee set up of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Economy to study prices.
The meeting dwelt on reasons which prompted some distribution companies save the Highway Services Company, to stop their services which created chaos at power stations.
