Fourth Edition of Libya-Tunisia Economic Forum kicks Off in Sfax.

The fourth edition of the Libyan-Tunisian Economic forum kicked off in the Tunisian city of Sfax with the participation of the Minister of Transportation, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed, and a number of Libyan businesspeople; in addition to commerce, industry and agriculture chamber of Misrata city as an honorary guest, Hokoometna said on Facebook.

The two-day forum is held under the slogan “forum of joint construction for comprehensive economy” to achieve the strategic goal of ” Libyan-Tunisian economy toward Africa and South Sahara.

Four workshops are scheduled to be held in the forum: The Desert Road Misrata-Sabha-Agadez in Niger to access sub-Saharan African markets. The second workshop is “Free Zones in the Development of Trade Exchange between Tunisia and Libya”, and the third is “Tunisia and Libya towards a joint logistics strategy for the development of intra-trade with African countries”, while the fourth workshop is “developing alternative energy and making Tunisia and Libya one of the most important suppliers of Europe.”
