Foreign Minister pf Presidential Council, Mohamed Siyala, briefed the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, on the latest developments in Libya, according to the Libyan Foreign Ministry’s Information Office.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of their participation in the meeting of the Ministerial Conference of the International Alliance to Counter ISIS, which was held in Kuwait.
Siyala and Tillerson also discussed recent arrangements for the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Libya this month on the prevention of the sale of stolen cultural artifacts from Libya in the United States and the beginning of a process to retrieve stolen Libyan artifacts and returned to their native Libya.
