Five catheter surgeries were performed after a two-and-a-half year delay due to a technical malfunction in the cardiac catheterization system at Tobruk Medical Center.
The director-general of the Tobruk Medical Center, Faraj Al-Jali, said Libyan Cloud News Agency that the surgeries were conducted skillfully and the capabilities of the Libyan medical team in the cardiac catheterization and therapeutic and diagnostic unit.
Tobruk Medical Center last week completed the repair of the cardiac catheterization device at the center after a two and a half year suspension by Siemens technicians.
