The General Electricity Company of Libya confirmed the reconnecting of the third and fourth units of Ubari Gas Station to the electrical grid, with a production capacity of 252 MW.

The GECOL succeeded in reconnecting the third unit to the network yesterday, after about two weeks of operational experiments.

The company has announced the suspension of the two generating stations of Zawiya and Ruwais for several times, explaining that it had made numerous attempts to reconnect them to the national grid.

The break down of the two stations have caused the disruption of electricity supplies to the capital during the days of Eid.
