Education Ministry to teach French language to secondary school students

The General Centre for Training and Educational Development hosted, Monday, a meeting of heads of departments of the French language in a number of Libyan universities, in the presence of the Director of the Centre and the Directors of Planning and Training Departments.

The meeting discussed the planned training course for preparing key trainers for teacher training, in preparation for incorporating the French language into the high school curriculum for first grade, in accordance with the Ministry’s plan aimed at stepping up language education in the middle school stage.
