Economy Minister reviews with UN mission economic reforms.

The UN envoy deputy for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, has discussed with Minister of Economy, Ali Al-Esawi the budget and economic reforms.

“The meeting touched on the proposed amendments concerning the support policy, as well as revitalizing the investment sector and development projects in Libya, through various means, including introducing specialized instruments to stimulate growth,” the UNSMIL tweeted.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Saddek El Kaber stated earlier that economic reforms had succeeded in reducing overall inflation from 28% to a negative rate of 1.6%.
