CCP Fellowships 2018 for Applicants from Libya

The CrossCulture Programme provides funding and support for young professionals and committed volunteers working in different civil society sectors. As part of the programme, fellowship holders complete an eight to twelve week internship in Germany. Eligible candidates are expected to demonstrate their long-term commitment in a civil society or other relevant organisation. The earliest beginning for an internship in Germany is June 2018. Internships should be completed until mid-December 2018.

Fellowships are offered in the following fields of work:

·         Politics, Society & Education

·         Human Rights & Peace Building

·         Sustainable Development

·         Media & Culture

Your profile:

  • aged from 23 to 45 years
  • a good command of English (knowledge of German is welcomed, but not required)
  • a long-term employment or volunteer involvement in an organisation in Libyain one of the above mentioned fields of work
  • good physical condition (physical as well as mental working capacity for a long stay abroad)

 

Benefits offered for selected participants:

·         a monthly grant in sum of 550 Euro

·         accommodation in Germany

·         health insurance policy

·         travel expenses incl. visa fees

·         public transportation expenses in the destination city

Moreover, ifa assists fellowship holders with the organisation of their internship in Germany.

Deadline for application is 12 January 2018. 
The selection of suitable candidates will be accomplished by ifa in consultation with the German Embassy Tripoli in Tunis. Selected candidates will be invited for an interview at the German Embassy in February or March 2018.
The final results will be communicated until the end of April 2018. There is no recourse to legal action.
