Council of Ministers of the Libyan Interim Government authorized completion of the project of water transport system from Tobruk desalination plant to feed the residential communities located east, west and south of the city.
According to Council of Ministers Decision No. 123 of 2017 issued on Wednesday, 17th May, the project’s value is (24.000.000 LYD) Twenty four million Libyan Dinars in the form of financial payments which will be (6.000.000 LYD) six million Libyan Dinars every three months according to what is being implemented and the possibilities available at the Ministry of Finance and Planning, provided that the said value shall be deducted from the transitional budget of the State for the year 2017.
