CBL, ISFD advance talks on establishing Waqf Solidarity Fund

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Sadek Elkaber, received Heba Ahmed, CEO of the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), and her delegation at his office on Tuesday.

According to the CBL, the meeting, attended by senior Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) officials, discussed enhancing the role of the private sector and activating institutions that support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The bank explained that the meeting falls within efforts to actively progress in establishing the Waqf Solidarity Fund.
