CBL introduces new five-dinar banknote

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) introduced on Monday a new polymer banknote of LYD 5 dinar domination.

The CBL said that the introduction of the new banknote comes in celebration of the 10th anniversary of February 17th revolution.

Meanwhile, the Governor of the CBL, Sadiq Al-Kabir, met on Sunday with the Prime Minister-designate of the National Unity Government, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and discussed efforts to ensure the financial and monetary stability of the state and unify institutions.
