The Minister of Workforce in Egypt Mohammed Safan said they hope Egyptian workers will arrive in Libya before the end of 2021, saying Libyana markets’ needs don’t require massive numbers, so the process won’t take a long time.
Safan said in a press conference on Saturday that the Ministry expects numbers of Egyptian workers in Libya to bounce back to those of before Tripoli unrest, saying all workers will undergo documentation and registry procedures to protect their financial dues and to keep their presence and work in Libya under a close monitoring.
Last Thursday, the technical team of the Libyan Labor and Rehabilitation Ministry signed an online connection protocol with the Egyptian counterpart after a week of meetings.
