The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Saleh Al-Obeidi, said it would host a huge exhibition in Libya under the slogan “Made in Egypt”.
During the Egyptian-Libyan business forum, which was held under the title “Egypt and Libya towards integrated and sustainable development,” Al-Obaidi called on Egyptian businessmen to enter the Libyan market and cooperate with Libyan businessmen through commercial and industrial partnerships.
Al-Obeidi stressed the implementation of the direct meeting mechanism between Egyptian businessmen and their counterparts in Libya in all fields to lay the foundations for direct cooperation.
Al-Obeidi explained that the two countries are seeking to implement joint projects, and the forum will include all business sectors, in addition to meetings between Egyptian and Libyan businessmen in all sectors of labor, investment, industry and trade.
He said that an executive committee will be formed to follow up the recommendations of the forum to measure the agreements that have been implemented between businessmen from the two countries.
The Egyptian-Libyan Business Forum was inaugurated in the presence of the Head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Reied, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Saleh Al-Obaidi, and the Libyan Consul in Alexandria.
Vice President of the General Union and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Giza Chamber, Adel Nasser, revealed actual plans to increase trade exchange and open the Libyan market for Egyptian businessmen.
Nasser stressed during the Egyptian-Libyan Business Forum that they identified points of disagreement and the most important obstacles and problems facing the movement of individuals and workers between Egypt and Libya. He indicated that all Libyan businessmen and companies from eastern, western and southern regions will participate in the forum.
