The Algerian oil and gas company Sonatrach said on Tuesday that it had discussed with the Libyan authorities the resumption of its activities in the country as soon as is practical.

This came in a statement by Sonatrach, which is participating in the Libya Energy and Economic Summit in Tripoli, held on 22-23 November.

According to Sonatrach, the summit was an opportunity to discuss methods of joint coordination with the Libyan side, along with the contribution of Sonatrach, particularly through its petroleum services branches to the rehabilitation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities in Libya.
