Al-Kabir discusses with Bank of New York Mellon combating money laundering.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has discussed with a high-level delegation from the Bank of New York Mellon, efforts made to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.

This came during a meeting held on Monday at the bank’s headquarters in New York City, to review the update of the bank’s compliance policies and regulations, according to the CBL Facebook page on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed cooperation to benefit from the bank’s experiences in the fields of technology and cybersecurity, and building capabilities.
